Daily outings

Why is it that my child is the only one who makes a scene when we leave somewhere? I don't mean just a little fussiness either. He can make every head in the joint turn his way. Is this pay back for something I've done? Sure I love to karaoke and take the stage from time to time, but this is a whole new level of attention that I didn't know I didn't want. And it always seems like I am alone in my struggle as I watch all the other kids comply with their parents wishes to leave and go to lunch or whatever else the day may bring. I know you are thinking, he's tired or hungry and sure that might be the case sometimes. I do like to tire him out before going home to ensure we get nap time. But a lot of the times he is all fed up and rested and still he goes for the drama! Yep, I am pretty sure this is pay back.

Birthday Bash!

We had the best Birthday party for my tot! I got a creative bug and made a birthday shirt for him. It was super easy to make and I think it turned out really cute. Thoughts? Now I am on a rampage making all kinds of things. I'll have more pics to post of different projects or pieces that I've made. It's a fun little outlet and I think the boys like it. Who can resist robots? (That will make sense when you see the other pics.) I gotta post soon because I am sure my power is going to go out. We are in the middle of a terrible thunderstorm! Time to snuggle up!

Beautiful Bride

Ever heard the saying, planning for a wedding and not a marriage? Well hopefully you will do both. If your lucky your marriage will be filled with love, happiness, and several worthy celebrations. However you only get to plan for that wedding once! I love weddings and especially the wedding dresses. I wish my husband and I could get married again on a regular basis. I most certainly would give him a panic attack in the process, but then again we have been married for almost 8 years now and if I haven't given him one yet........

All the World's a Stage

Took the kids to see All the World's a Stage exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art. What a cool exhibit. They are featuring this until February 28th and I recommend that you check it out. The celebration of performance in the visual arts collection is a creative time machine that both adults and children can appreciate. So if you are in Dallas, check it out!

This year has been one filled with many concert stubs. I am a huge music lover. I think it makes the world go round. The huge yellow balloons dropped during Yellow bounced with happiness all through the song. Great show guys. (There should be a picture with this)

The treasures of life will be where you spend your time and energy. Devotion to my children, loving husband and family are the core of my existence. Laughter heals the soul, and I am forever grateful for every time I've had the opportunity to do so. The friends in my life are like precious jewels that I am honored to know. Compassion and forgiveness are life lessons that need to be learned. Perfection will not be found here but maybe something of interest will......
